HISTORY
The Cottage is 180 years old, the first dwelling built in Naracoorte in 1842 by George Ormerod, and is of significant heritage value to inhabitants of the town of Naracoorte and to South Australian history.
There are a number of grants outstanding for on-going conservation works that are a part of maintaining a building of this age.
